Richard is a Hawaiian native and has worked for Garden & Valley Isle Seafood Inc. since February 1996. As an avid surfer and fisherman his knowledge of fish suits his position at GVI. He has 10 years of property management accounting experience. He has worked 9 years as an accountant for a Bankruptcy Trustee on Hawaii corporation cases before coming to GVI. He is a retired Army Sergeant Major out of the Reserves in the Engineer Branch with 23 years of service. At GVI he is responsible for all areas of accounting, banking, payroll and financial reporting for three island locations. He was a key employee in the development and initial operation of both our Maui and Kauai facilities. He is HACCP Certified and has a degree in Hospitality Education.
